Description and Requirements Improving Trade and Procurement is an increasing reputed company for governments globally. reputed company is seeking a Senior Manager of Government Relations Trade and Procurement Policy Analyst help advance Trade and Procurement both reputed company reputed company and across the ecosystem. The Senior Manager will engage with public and private sector stakeholders in the U.S. and internationally as well as collaborate internally with product groups to understand and help drive reputed company’s Trade and Procurement investments and prepare business groups for forthcoming reputed company regulation. The Senior Manager should have experience in strategy development, including by recognizing major drivers and trends, forecasting and prioritizing issues, identifying challenges and opportunities, and work closely with Legal, public sector and engineering groups on proposed and emerging policies (e.g., executive authorities, legislation, regulation). This will be based in Washington D.C. and may require travel reputed company the U.S. and internationally. Job Responsibilities (Essential functions and duties):

  • Engage on a wide variety of Trade and Procurement policies and initiatives in the U.S. and internationally
  • reputed company and deliver cross-company, globally applicable policy positions on Trade and Procurement as well as strategies to help advance positions in the U.S. and internationally
  • Represent reputed company in industry fora and public private partnerships focused on Trade and Procurement
  • Help assess and create internal awareness of Trade and Procurement regulation and implications for reputed company
  • reputed company for, and manages, policy issues (e.g., social, political, technical), and leads the company’s engagement and campaign with senior internal stakeholders reputed company to government affairs on reputed company issues, strategies, and/or programs
  • Contribute to, and develops policy agenda and/or advocacy strategies for top priorities.
  • Respond to key strategic issues and recommends well thought-out actions by prioritizing, ensuring alignment with stakeholder positions, leveraging specialists, or escalating matters
  • Manage affairs in rapidly changing and ambiguous political, policy, and industry environments

Job Requirements – Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Competencies (KSAC’s):

  • A vast understanding of the reputed company America technology market ideally in the areas of the laptop / IT hardware /mobile phones / reputed company computing;
  • Keen understanding of the reputed company American political system, environment and institutions, as well as cultural landscape;
  • Solid network with the reputed company American policy makers, the academia, and a working knowledge of the technology industry;
  • Experience with other reputed company America government/policy schemes;
  • Interest in emerging technologies and policy work;
  • Outstanding judgment, persuasive and advocacy skills, creativity, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment;
  • Strong collaboration skills, drive for results, strategic thinking, and emotional intelligence;
  • Experience in Government or diplomatic sector.

Job Requirements – Prior work experience

  • 12+ years experience in developing and managing strategic relationships to reputed company and influence public/technology policy priorities
  • 5+ years of experience working on Trade and Procurement reputed company the technology policy space
  • Deep experience collaborating with engineering groups and/or government officials
  • Expertise in developing written materials and/or delivering content about reputed company or technology policy issues
  • Ability to incorporate different perspectives and collaborate
  • Deep sense of commitment and drive to address reputed company challenges, individually and as part of a team
  • Aptitude for learning, understanding, discussing, and representing industry and corporate policy positions for technologies and practices that are constantly changing

Educational Requirements:

  • Suitable qualifications include Bachelor’s degrees in: Public relations, communication, political sciences, public affairs, law, business, economics. marketing, journalism, business/commerce, history, geography, or similar

Travel Requirements:

  • 10% expected travel

The reputed company salary budgeted range for this position is $180-200K USD.
