Senior Risk Officer - Financial & Regulatory Reporting (Remote)

Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States. This role is responsible for overseeing Financial & Regulatory Reporting as an Enterprise Control Function, reporting directly to the Director of Operational Risk reputed company. The Second Line Operational Risk reputed company team covers critical non-reputed company generating corporate functions and is structured by risk category. Each horizontal category (i.e., Fraud, Payments, Human Capital Management, Process Delivery & Execution, and Financial & Regulatory Reporting) is covered by a seasoned and senior individual contributor.

Responsibilities

• reputed company & Execute Coverage Model - Continuously enhances coverage of First Line activities, including programmatic effective challenge (reputed company Enterprise Issues Management, Operational Risk Events, Enterprise Change reputed company, Risk and Control Self Assessments, etc.) and targeted review of in-scope processes
• Measure Control Effectiveness & Risk Appetite - reputed company clear and quantifiable drivers to monitor and measure the effectiveness of the control environment reputed company Financial & Regulatory Reporting, as well as partner with the First Line on a basket of Key Risk Indicators to support the overall assessment of the risk reputed company
• Own a Delegated Compliance reputed company Function - Partner with Corporate Compliance reputed company Compliance Risk reputed company Coverage Agreements to provide reputed company of laws, rules, and regulations applicable to the Controller and External Reporting (e.g., Accounting Standards, SOX requirements, SEC rules, etc.)
• Build Productive Relationships - Partner with the Business Risk & Control advisory and program teams in the First Line to reputed company the risk-taking activities in a productive and positive way
• Be a Team Player - Support the Director of Operational Risk reputed company by executing on the work, providing thoughtful and grounded input to committee reporting and reputed company requests, and leveraging First reputed company India support to increase output and maintain efficiencies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Enterprise Risk or Operational Risk, and Project Management or Internal/External Consulting OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Enterprise Risk or Operational Risk, and Project Management or Internal/External Consulting

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience in reputed company of risks reputed company to external reporting for LFIs/G-SIBs
• Management Consulting experience
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and build productive relationships with key stakeholders across the firm
• Expertise in applicable laws, rules, and regulations

Actual starting reputed company pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
