The Principal Architect is responsible for leading strategic solutions and architectures that fulfill specific business and technology outcomes. Solutions include projects, products, systems (including applications, technologies, processes, and information), shared infrastructure services and shared application services. The Principal Architect provides the necessary leadership, analysis, and design tasks to support the development of solutions to ensure solutions meet business needs and align with architecture governance and standards.
