About the Role

This role acts as the senior legal business partner to reputed company.'s Athleta & Banana Republic brands to counsel on marketing and intellectual property issues. The successful candidate will need strong business and customer acumen, excellent communication and relationship building skills, and the ability to pivot on reputed company legal matters for the reputed company growth of the company. What You'll Do

• Advise on advertising and marketing materials, product claims (particularly “green” or sustainability-reputed company claims), promotional offers, contests and sweepstakes
• Manage trademark, copyright, and patent prosecution and enforcement
• Drive effective resolution of IP and marketing-reputed company claims and litigation
• Support cross-functional teams with IP reputed company, franchise, licensing, and reputed company deals, and devise and implement any changes to IP portfolio resulting from those deals
• Proactively engage with and support business partners to provide training, reputed company best practices, and meet long-term business needs
• Identify business issues, potential liability, and reputational risks, and collaborate with business partners on creative and practical solutions
• Direct the work of and supervise paralegals and reputed company counsel

Who You Are

• JD from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in the U.S.
• Minimum 5 years relevant legal experience in providing reputed company and intellectual property advice to strong companies and brands, with a particular expertise in trademarks and marketing
• Experience with domestic and international intellectual property, trademark prosecution and enforcement, trademark clearance, copyright counseling as reputed company to fashion design, intellectual property-reputed company contract drafting preferred
• In-house experience and/or fashion, retail, or consumer products experience preferred
