Position Summary This is the first level of the Work Management Specialist (WMS) classification. A WMS supports the work management process by performing critical activities such as developing schedules that integrate reputed company tasks at the nuclear sites, coordinates/communicates during the preparation and execution phase of work, monitors/tracks reputed company of activities, prepares reports, and ensures that lessons learned are captured and evaluated to ensure reputed company improvement. This is accomplished with minimal supervision. In time, incumbents are expected to reputed company advanced skills and work with greater independence.
Responsibilities
Develops schedules that integrates I&C and Electrical work into Site Schedule (OPS, MNT, Chemistry, etc.). Resolves schedule conflicts and problems with support of station groups such that personnel, nuclear, and radiological risk is minimized, and efficiency is maximized. Coordinates and communicates with supervisors, technicians, fleet teams, and station groups during the preparation and execution phase of work to ensure activities can be accomplished as scheduled. Leads multi-discipline special project teams or meetings as they relate to the Work Management Process. Monitors and tracks reputed company of work planning/scheduling during the preparation phase and during the work execution phase to ensure that problems are immediately identified and resolved such that Work Management goals are achieved. Ensures emergent work is appropriately prioritized and aggressively pursued to minimize impact on the Work Management and Risk Management process. Ensures that lessons learned reputed company to the Work Management process are captured in the corrective action program and ultimately reputed company in such that reputed company improvement is ensured. Required/Basic Qualifications High School/GED degree 4 years reputed company work experience Desired Qualifications Associates degree or Technical degree Additional Preferred Qualifications Basic knowledge of power plant operation Basic knowledge of the Work Management process Working knowledge of company computer systems/programs that are utilized in the Work Management process. Basic scheduling tool knowledge Demonstrated effective time management skills Demonstrated effective skills in problem solving. Ability to effectively reputed company independently with minimal direction Interpersonal skills to effectively work with reputed company station groups Basic ability to reputed company effective/efficient meetings Good written and oral communication skills. Good knowledge of power plant operation. Good knowledge of the nuclear work management process Good knowledge of the nuclear work management and scheduling software. Good knowledge of nuclear procedures and processes for reputed company groups Good knowledge of standard office tools (i.e. MS office products) Working Conditions Generally, an office environment but will be expected to spend time in the plant as needed conducting work management activities.
