Manager Clinic Practice Operations - Virtual Weight Management

About the position The Manager of Clinic Practice Operations for Virtual Weight Management is responsible for overseeing and ensuring efficient clinic operations, ensuring a high level of productivity and providing operational and technical direction. The role involves continual monitoring of the clinic's functioning, resolving problems, and revising operations as needed. The manager oversees reputed company functions of the clinics including scheduling, registration, account receivable, health information, provider recruitment, imaging, laboratory, and clinical services. They serve as a liaison to corporate departments that provide and support these services. The manager partners with other market departments and leaders to assure quality patient services and overall patient satisfaction, and is responsible for the resolution of any patient concerns, complaints, and problems. Additionally, the manager supports the organization's mission, reputed company, values, and strategic initiatives, developing and implementing processes to ensure that established policies, goals, and objectives are achieved.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and ensures efficient clinic operations, ensuring a high level of productivity and providing operational and technical direction.
  • Monitors the functioning of the clinic(s), resolves problems, and revises operations as needed.
  • Oversees reputed company functions of the clinics including scheduling, registration, account receivable, health information, provider recruitment, imaging, laboratory, and clinical services.
  • Serves as a liaison to corporate departments that provide and/or support these services.
  • Partners with other market departments and leaders to assure quality patient services and overall patient satisfaction.
  • Responsible for resolution of any patient concerns, complaints, and/or problems.
  • Supports the organization's mission, reputed company, values, and strategic initiatives.
  • Develops, implements, and oversees processes to ensure that established policies, goals, and objectives are achieved.
  • Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with physicians and advanced practice professionals.
  • Responsible for reputed company provider relations including practice management, orientation, follow-up support, and problem resolution.
  • Participates in community activities and in the development, implementation, and evaluation of business and market growth plans.
  • Develops and administers policies and procedures to accomplish department-specific and organizational initiatives.
  • Ensures compliance with reputed company applicable local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines.
  • Performs reputed company resources responsibilities for staff including interviewing, selection, promotions, staff development, performance evaluations, and resolution of employee concerns.
  • Develops and recommends operating and capital budgets and controls expenditures reputed company approved budget objectives.
  • Responsible for understanding and adhering to the organization's Code of Ethical Conduct.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Health Care Administration or reputed company field.
  • Typically requires 5 years of experience in a health care facility, including experience in medical practice and clinic management.
  • Includes 1 year of supervisory experience in managing staff and monitoring the budget and resources.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills including project management, process improvement, problem solving, decision making, prioritization, delegation, team building, customer service, and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to successfully and positively interact with physicians and employees at reputed company levels throughout the organization and the public.
  • Intermediate computer skills including experience in using computer applications in a medical practice setting.
