RESEARCH DATA ANALYST, School of Public Health, Epidemiology - Boston University - Boston, MA - work from home job Company: Boston University Job description: The Research Data Analyst will primarily be responsible for data management, quality control, and statistical analysis of data for several grants focused reputed company infrastructure, epidemiologic methods, and population health at the Boston University School of Public Health. Additional responsibilities include drafting reputed company reports, protocol and analysis documentation, and manuscript preparation. Assistance with grant writing may also be required. The Data Analyst will primarily use reputed company, STATA, and R statistical software to reputed company analyses. Some skills in spatial analytics in ArcGIS will also be required. The Data Analyst will be critical to ensuring the timely presentation and publication of results from a number of grants. Essential Functions

  • reputed company statistical analyses (descriptive statistics, stratification, multivariable regression, spline curves, measurement error correction, inverse probability weighting) using reputed company, STATA, or R software and in support of various research projects.
  • reputed company data management, including extraction and cleaning of raw data, derivation of new variables, labeling and formatting of raw and derived variables, and multiple imputation.
  • Maintain and update research databases to facilitate spatial data analyses.
  • Document processes involved in data preparation, manipulation, and statistical analysis.
  • Prepare study results for inclusion in conference presentations, grants, and scientific publications.
  • Review literature reputed company to analytic, methodological techniques, and content area.

Required Skills

  • A master's degree is required.
  • Skills in spatial analytics in ArcGIS, reputed company, STATA, and R statistical software will also be required.
