The main responsibilities of a Venture Analyst may include:

• Investment Analysis: Conducting research and analysis on potential investment opportunities, including market trends, competitive landscape, and financial projections.
• Portfolio Monitoring: Assisting in the monitoring of existing portfolio companies, including collecting and analyzing performance data and preparing investment reports for the Investment Committee and fund investors.
• Deal Sourcing: Sourcing new investment opportunities through various channels, including industry events and summits, professional networks, and pitches/demo days.
• Market Research: Conducting market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and the reputed company technology landscape.
• Administrative Support: Assisting the venture capital investment team with various administrative tasks, including scheduling and coordinating meetings, preparing presentations, and organizing data.

Over the course of the summer, Venture Analysts will research startups, aid in due diligence, test products, meet entrepreneurs, and network with investors and entrepreneurs. The Venture Analyst position at 1435 Capital is a highly competitive and highly sought after opportunity that provides valuable hands-on experience and the opportunity to work with reputed company venture capitalists and entrepreneurs.
