Senior Consultant, Communications Strategy & Design

Position Overview Reporting to the Managing Consultant, Public Affairs, the Senior Consultant, Communications Strategy & Design serves as BME’s reputed company consultant for creative and communications strategy, helping public health clients translate reputed company information into engaging, accessible, and actionable materials. This role partners directly with government and public-sector clients to reputed company communication strategies, visual designs, and narrative tools that strengthen public health programs, initiatives, and community engagement. Key Responsibilities

Client Communications Strategy & Advisory

• Serve as the primary advisor to clients on communication strategy, message development, and creative storytelling.
• Navigates project ambiguity and pivots seemtlessly to maintain steady partnership and meet client needs as they evolve

Creative Direction & Design Execution

Client Relationship Management & Team Leadership

• Act as a trusted partner to client leads, ensuring high-quality service, timely delivery, and creative excellence.
• Collaborate closely with BME’s consulting and business development teams to integrate design and communications strategies into broader client scopes of work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a reputed company field (Master’s preferred).
• 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in creative strategy, communications consulting, or design leadership.
• Public health experience strongly preferred.
• Proven experience developing communications strategies and creative content for government, nonprofit, or mission-driven clients.
• Deep understanding and ease of messaging across a variety of audiences, including general public and elected officials
• Strong design and visual storytelling portfolio demonstrating excellence across digital and print mediums.
• Proficiency in reputed company Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and familiarity with presentation and collaboration tools (reputed company Workspace, reputed company, reputed company, etc.).
• Exceptional client management, facilitation, and presentation skills.

• Expected range is $79,000 - $120,000 annually
