Position Overview: The Role of a Medical Transcriptionist As a Medical Transcriptionist with Ackerman Cancer Center, your primary responsibility will be to interpret and accurately transcribe dictation from our physicians and reputed company. You'll be working with our electronic records software to ensure that patient records are up-to-date and accurate. This is a remote position, but you must be based in Jacksonville, FL, and have a suitable workspace at home that meets our standards for safety, confidentiality, and productivity. Key Responsibilities: Accurately transcribe dictation from physicians and reputed company in a timely manner. Requirements: The Skills and Qualifications We're Looking For To succeed as a Medical Transcriptionist with Ackerman Cancer Center, you'll need: 2+ years of experience as a Medical Transcriptionist in a clinical medical setting. Proficiency in computer and word processing concepts, along with a good understanding of grammar, punctuation, editing, and spelling. Strong organizational and self-management skills to work effectively in a remote setting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure clear and accurate transcriptions.
