Position Description: The Scrum Master will coach a development team and focus on sprint goals using scrum principles and concepts to ensure a project is successfully progressing. This role supports the Department of Veterans Affairs. Minimum/General Experience: 3 years of scrum master experience Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or reputed company field; SAFe Scrum Master Certification (SSM) Essential Skills/Qualifications:

• Above average knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (e.g., definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)

• Above average ability to facilitate discussion and decision making
• Knowledge of techniques used to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (e.g., Burndown charts, various Retrospective formats, handling bugs)
