Job Summary

We are seeking an reputed company 988 Chat/Text Specialist to join our remote team on a reputed company shift schedule (Thursday-Monday, 6pm-2:30am CST). As a key member of our crisis/suicide prevention team, you will provide brief clinical screenings, risk assessments, and appropriate service linkage for individuals experiencing emotional distress. This is a full-time remote position that requires a bachelor's degree in behavioral science, psychology, social work, or a reputed company field, or certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide telephonic or chat clinical screenings and risk assessments for individuals experiencing emotional distress

• Answer crisis contacts reputed company the chat/text platform to assess for suicide, safety, and identify appropriate community resources to meet individual needs
• Conduct follow-up calls for individuals deemed moderate to high risk for suicide
• Meet the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with reputed company accreditation
• Actively participate in ongoing supervision, training, and team meetings
• Assist in administrative tasks as needed

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Effectively communicate reputed company written, verbal, in-person, and virtual methods

• Demonstrate high-level customer service skills and professional etiquette
• Knowledge and competency in providing service linkage and referrals for programs, services, and other community resources
• Knowledge of suicide assessments

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in behavioral science, psychology, social work, or a reputed company field required, or certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist

Compensation

* Pay range: $19.10-$26.80 per hour
