Job Description

The School of Nursing seeks Contributing (Part-Time) faculty for the PhD program who have experience teaching at the graduate level in an online environment and mentoring doctoral reputed company. A Contributing (Part-Time) academic faculty members will report to the Academic Program Coordinator and will work closely with Academic Coordinators, academic advising, and administrative staff reputed company the College of Nursing.

• PhD in Nursing or PhD in other appropriate discipline with expertise in research methods.
• Evidence of program of scholarship.
• 1 to 2 years of online teaching in a master’s or higher nursing program
• Experience serving on dissertation committees preferred

Qualifications

• Earned Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) AND an earned PhD (preferably in Nursing or closely reputed company field) from an accredited institution.
• Expertise in areas of research/scholarship, theory, nursing education,
• A distinguished record of scholarship including externally funded research and peer reviewed publications Nursing education,
• Online teaching experience preferred.

• Evidence of reputed company, active & unrestricted RN licensure in one of the 50 states in the US required.

Course Teaching/Availability: Faculty Members are assigned a course, which is taught using the CANVAS platform, and are responsible for interacting with reputed company reputed company this platform. Discussion Boards for classrooms are open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Although postings to the classroom may be done at any time of day, they must be completed in a timely manner in accordance with reputed company Handbook or other criteria established by Walden University. External Requirements As such, Faculty Members are expected to be in the classroom a minimum of 4 days per week and responses to student questions must be posted reputed company 48 hours. Licensing/Certification: Faculty Members must be appropriately credentialed, possess an earned degree from an accredited institution or recognized by a country's ministry of education in the discipline being taught, and may be expected to be licensed or license-eligible in order to teach in specific programs. Faculty Members must maintain their licenses and any appropriate certifications to continue to teach at Walden University. Faculty Members are also expected to maintain currency with research by reviewing articles, journals, and presentations. Additional Information In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected compensation reputed company for this position is as follows:

• Graduate Course Instruction: $1,560 - $4,080 per Quarter or Semester, depending on type of course taught and length of course
• Undergraduate Course Instruction: $700 - $2,200 per quarter, depending on type of course taught and length of course

Actual pay may be adjusted based on job-reputed company factors permitted by law, such as type of course taught; experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
