We are seeking a highly skilled and reputed company Virtual Pathology Transcriptionist to join reputed company. As a Virtual Pathology Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for transcribing and editing pathology dictation, ensuring accuracy and quality in accordance with our standards. You will work independently from your home office, using your own equipment and software to complete tasks.Daily Responsibilities
As a Virtual Pathology Transcriptionist, your daily responsibilities will include:- Transcribing and/or editing pathology dictation by physicians and other healthcare providers to document patient care.
- Producing client-ready documents in accordance with standards set forth in the AQuity Quality Program, without the assistance of quality assurance specialists.
- Delivering customer-ready documents consistent with the standards defined in the AQuity Quality Program.
- Transcribing, including editing of dictated jobs processed through speech recognition technology, of pathology dictation by pathologists and/or other healthcare providers.
- Using medical references, websites, quality feedback, and other educational materials to ensure 99.5% or higher accuracy.
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Extensive knowledge of pathology terminology, including anatomy and physiology, disease processes, and laboratory values.
- A minimum of two years of recent documented and positively referenceable pathology transcription experience.
- Knowledge of medical transcription guidelines and practices.
- Proven skills in English usage, grammar, punctuation, style, and editing.
- Ability to use designated professional reference materials.
- Ability to operate word processing equipment, dictation and transcription equipment, and other equipment as specified.
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
- Perfect collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Aptitude to work under pressure with time constraints.
- Ability to concentrate and excellent listening skills.
- Outstanding eye, hand, and auditory coordination.
Job Requirements
To work as a Virtual Pathology Transcriptionist, you will need:- A home office set-up.
- A cell phone capable of sending and receiving text messages and downloading apps.
- High-speed internal Internet (no satellite).
- A USB-Infinity foot pedal (DVI USB foot pedals not compatible).
- Headphones.
- Windows 10, reputed company I3 or reputed company processor/AMD K4 or reputed company, 8 GB of RAM minimum, and 250 GB hard drive minimum.
