As a critical member of reputed company, you will serve as the initial reputed company of contact for patients, reputed company providers, and facilities, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of patient care.

Role Purpose and Responsibilities

As a Part Time Remote Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Navigating electronic health records to obtain and validate historical information, capturing and documenting demographic and financial information, and maintaining patient privacy and reputed company as outlined by HIPAA.
  • Managing a high volume of incoming calls from patients, reputed company providers, and facilities, ensuring resolution to the call and providing excellent customer service.
  • Leveraging critical thinking with speed and accuracy to identify the reason for the call and take appropriate action based on caller need and acuity.
  • Scheduling patient visits based on reputed company provider preferences, verifying and updating insurance, and checking insurance eligibility.
  • Communicating directly with providers (physicians) to reputed company pertinent clinical information during after hours.
  • Managing calls reputed company established performance and customer service standards, achieving targeted abandoned call reputed company, average speed of answer, and average transaction time.

Requirements and Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: 2-5 years of recent reputed company or customer service experience
  • Typing Test: Minimum speed of 35 wpm, 90% accuracy
  • Location: Must live reputed company 1 hour of St. Louis, Missouri

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Recent reputed company experience, preferably in a customer service role
  • Familiarity with electronic health records and reputed company operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Schedule and Shift Details

This is a part-time position, requiring 24 hours per week. The schedule includes:

  • Sunday: 12:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
  • Thursday and Friday: 4:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. (Holiday Bucket: 4:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.)
