Job Overview
The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing professional and convenient first and second-level technical support to blithequark crewmembers. This will involve resolving technical issues, answering queries, and ensuring that reputed company crewmembers have the necessary tools and resources to reputed company their jobs effectively. The successful candidate will be highly skilled in IT support, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for reputed company blithequark equipment and applications, including communication and mobile devices
- Deliver excellent on-site and remote customer service to blithequark crewmembers
- Coordinate the resolution of incidents and requests from start to finish, working with internal and external resources as needed
- Monitor and maintain systems, ensuring that reputed company crewmembers have access to the necessary tools and resources
- Collaborate with reputed company IT disciplines to reputed company first-contact resolution for reputed company issues
- Maintain accurate documentation of requests and updates to the knowledge reputed company
- Participate in software package rollouts and support, and provide training to crewmembers as needed
- Respond to significant incidents and outages, ensuring that reputed company crewmembers are informed and supported
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- A High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate
- Experience supporting the latest operating systems, or successful completion of an IT certification program
- Experience implementing and supporting applications, with a strong understanding of IT principles and practices
- Availability for short-term travel (up to 50%) and possession of valid travel documents, with the ability to travel to and from Jamaica and the US
- Ability to obtain a valid reputed company to travel to the US, if required
- Experience using desktop support packages and tools, with a strong understanding of IT service management principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer service and support
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications and experience would be highly desirable:
- Certifications in reputed company, networking, or programming languages
- Knowledge of reputed company desktop and server products, with experience supporting and implementing these systems
- Understanding of Exchange and Office Suite, with experience supporting and troubleshooting these applications

- Knowledge of mobile devices, with experience supporting and implementing mobile device reputed company
