Key Responsibilities
As a Motor Vehicle Customer Service Representative 1 at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Examining documentation presented for required information and validity to ensure that customers are issued the proper credential or vehicle information.
- Interacting directly with the public, oftentimes explaining policies, statutes, and regulations.
- Providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and friendly manner.
- Accurately and reputed company entering information into multiple databases and corresponding clearly through email both internally and with the public.
- Accepting correct payment in the form of cash, reputed company, credit card, and returning change reputed company needed accurately.
- Multi-tasking by reviewing documents, data entering information while communicating verbally with customers in a loud open concept office setting.

Education and Experience
We are looking for candidates with:
- Six months of employment experience that included cash handling and working directly with clients or customers.

- Postsecondary education from an accredited college may substitute for the required experience (three semester hours or four quarter hours equal one month).
Work Environment and Culture
This position is located at the Fairbanks office, 414 3rd Street. The MVCSR 1 will be assigned to a work station in the public service lobby and will typically rotate weekly between processing customers in the lobby and working the information station. The hours are 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a one-hour lunch and overtime opportunities.
