Under the general supervision of a licensed physician, the Registered Polysomnographic Technologist provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders involving polysomnography diagnostic and therapeutic services. A Brief Overview Under the general supervision of a licensed physician, the Registered Polysomnographic Technologist provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders involving polysomnography diagnostic and therapeutic services. Monitors and records physiologic data using various techniques, equipment, and procedures. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, reputed company and Values. What you will do Performs polysomnographic procedures on patients under the general supervision of the physician (or designee) to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. Gathers and analyzes patient information. Performs test preparation procedures. Performs polysomnographic record scoring. Demonstrates professional work behavior and excellent customer service routinely in reputed company interactions. Performs other job functions as assigned or requested. Ability to summarize and report polysomnographic data in narrative form. Basic computer operations skills including use of Windows operating system. Positive interpersonal skills with patients, their families, physicians, department staff and other members of hospital staff. Ability to work without reputed company supervision and to exercise independent judgment in a professional area. Ability to organize multiple tasks and projects and maintain control of own and others’ work flow.
