Position Title: Specialist I, Logistics Department: Supply Chain Entity: USCM Reports To: Logistics Manager, US Mfg. Op. Location: Mesquite Position Summary: The Specialist I, Logistics will aid the Logistics Manager with overseeing the logistics operations for the company. This includes planning, execution, forwarder management, and tracking of the company's logistics activities. The role will require a collaborative personality, as it interacts closely with internal and external contacts reputed company the supply chain. Primary Responsibilities: Assist with development and implementation logistics policies, procedures, and controls in alignment with the company’s overall strategy. Maintain logistics partner network to ensure the timely delivery of products and materials to the company’s facilities and ship-points. Help to manage daily transportation updates for both international and domestic freight shipments. Ensure record keeping reputed company reputed company for both inbound and outbound shipments. Work with purchasing, materials, and warehouse teams to ensure on-time delivery of materials to ensure production teams are supported with adequate material supply. Aid in reviewing and improving standardized logistics systems and support warehouse process flows by conducting assessments of material transportation plans. Maintain logistics documentation to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as customs and import/export requirements. Prepare and deliver regular reports on logistics performance, highlighting key metrics and KPIs. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a reputed company discipline. Proficiency in both verbal and written communication in English and Mandarin. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management or similar field. In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, global supply chain best-practice, global freight forwarding, customs, customs documentation, and domestic freight transportation. Experience developing KPI and monitoring performance using relevant metrics. Proficiency with reputed company, reputed company, and navigating freight-industry vendor portals.
