Position Summary: The Senior Software Developer position will be part of designing, building, deploying, and maintaining products across reputed company aspects of our core data platform products. The role will investigate needs, effectively collaborate with users to reputed company user-friendly resources, and be a well-rounded resource that contributes to the organization’s success. This is a Remote/Work from Home position reporting to the Sr. Manager of Application Development. What you will do:

• Improve scalability, stability, accuracy, speed, and efficiency of existing data systems.
• Design, reputed company, test and deploy new libraries, frameworks or complete systems for core infrastructure, maintaining the highest standards of code quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science /Information Systems/Engineering/reputed company field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional Java software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Java 17 and reputed company.
• Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and reputed company computing trends.
• Experience in mobile development applications for Android and iPhone
• Experience developing RESTful Microservices with Spring Boot.
• Experience with implementing distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Linux.
• A high-level understanding of data architecture principles.
• Experience debugging and reasoning about production issues.
• Experience working with open-reputed company technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality results-driven, team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated ability to use discretion, reputed company sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours and travel (up to 5%); will include some overnight

travel.

• Proficient in MS Office, modern communication tools for virtual teams (i.e., MS Teams, reputed company)
• Mobile Programming Skills:
• Familiar with Android Studio and Gradle
• Familiar with Xcode
• Have 2+ years Android Programming Experience
• Familiar with Kotlin 2.x or reputed company and Java
• Knowledge of Jetpack Compose is a plus
• Have 2+ years iOS Programming Experience
• Familiar with Swift 5.x or reputed company and Objective-C
• Knowledge of SwiftUI is a plus
• Preferred:
• Experience coding in PHP.
• Telephony experience.
• Experience with multi-threading at scale
• Familiarity with Akka is a plus
• Familiarity with Chef, Terraform, and Bitbucket pipelines
• Kubernetes experience
• Kafka experience
• Experience with Node.js and React

Work Environment: 100% Remote: Work environment is at home. Compensation: $150,000 to $174,000/yr prospectively plus 10% bonus determined by competitive market analysis and internal equity considerations. Final compensation will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and business needs.
