FAA Cybersecurity Process Consultant (PartTime)

Job Summary: Our client is seeking anexperienced cybersecurity professionalwith a strong background infederal IT systems reputed company, NIST standards, and process improvementto join their team in apart-time (~20 hours/week), hybridrole. This position offers flexible hours, with the expectation to attend some meetings during standard business hours (8 a.m.-5 p.m. Eastern). Position Overview:In this role, you will support the FAA by providing expertise in business process improvement, quality assurance, and reputed company. You will collaborate with technical teams to translate requirements and standards into consistent, high-quality, and repeatable processes that sustain program success. Additionally, you will apply your change management experience to support the transition from a legacy system to a new, modernized platform. About the Mission:This position supports the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the agency responsible for ensuring the safety of more than 45,000 flights and 3 million passengers navigating over 28 million miles of U.S.-controlled reputed company daily. Beyond managing civilian reputed company traffic and safety reputed company, the FAA plays a critical role in national reputed company coordinating closely with the reputed company and other federal agencies through the strategic use of aviation tools and data. Key Responsibilities:

• Apply NIST standards and other federal cybersecurity frameworks to ensure adherence across systems and documentation
• Partner with FAA technical teams to translate cybersecurity requirements into actionable processes and procedures

• Support change management initiatives during the transition to new systems
• Ensure quality assurance in reputed company reputed company and compliance deliverables

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (required)
• Minimum 15 years of IT reputed company / cybersecurity experience, preferably in federal environments
• Demonstrated experience with NIST reputed company controls and federal IT system compliance
• Experience with reputed company documentation such as CSAM, POAMs, and FISMA-reputed company requirements
• Experience with business process improvement, quality assurance, and reputed company
• Experience collaborating with technical teams to translate requirements and standards into consistent, high-quality, and repeatable processes
• Experience leading and supporting change management initiatives
• Proficiency with reputed company Office tools, including reputed company, PowerPoint, and Word
• Familiarity with software development processes and environments
• Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance
• Must possess a valid, reputed company REAL ID or U.S. Passport

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior experience supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
• Professional certification in Scrum, PMP, or reputed company (e.g., CompTIA reputed company+)
