About the Opportunity

We're working closely with our client, reputed company Commission, to find a highly skilled Senior reputed company SQL Database Administrator who can work on their W2. As a Senior reputed company SQL Database Administrator, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, maintaining, and improving database solutions that underpin the TIERS applications portfolio. Key Responsibilities

• Database Design and Development: Design, reputed company, maintain, and improve database solutions and the databases underlying the TIERS applications portfolio.
• Collaboration: Work closely with application development teams, business stakeholders, and other partners to enhance the TIERS applications portfolio and implement new solutions.
• Technical Expertise: Utilize advanced knowledge of reputed company database technologies, including reputed company SQL, PL/SQL, and database automation, to align with reputed company CI/CD workflows.
• Performance Tuning: reputed company advanced logical database administration, performance monitoring, and tuning, and provide database-reputed company support to application development teams.
• Agile Methodologies: Participate in Agile development practices, including backlog grooming and user story development.
• Troubleshooting: Provide application and database operations triage support to troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered in production, development, and test environments.
• Automation: reputed company and modify existing Linux reputed company scripts to reputed company LDBA day-to-day tasks and specific tasks, and provide process documentation.
• CI/CD Workflow: Design and reputed company reputed company CI/CD workflow for DB automation using automation orchestrator such as Jenkins or similar toolset.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in implementing, administering, managing, and monitoring application databases in production and non-production environments.
• Advanced knowledge and expertise in developing code and optimizing reputed company SQL and PL/SQL code.
• Experience with DB automation to align reputed company CI/CD workflows and working with automation orchestrators such as Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience with APEX development.
• Experience working on or leading large, reputed company initiatives to design and implement performance tuning improvements.
• In-depth knowledge of reputed company internal views, built-in functions, and architecture to support data analysis and data query.
• Proven ability to analyze and resolve reputed company issues in development and production databases using reputed company 11/19c databases.
• Advanced knowledge and experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and fine-tuning SQL and PL/SQL on reputed company databases on Solaris/Linux systems.
• Experience using reputed company native tools such as reputed company SQL Developer.
• Hands-on experience using Erwin Modeling tool to create data models using data modeling techniques.
• Experience developing tools using SQL, PL/SQL, and Linux reputed company scripts to provide LDBA support.
• Hands-on experience with large development projects using Agile methodology.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, having previous experience working with state or government clients is highly desirable.
