Job Overview

As a Maintenance Mechanic III, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Distribution Center. Your primary responsibilities will include performing daily systems inspections, troubleshooting and repairing material handling equipment, and identifying problems that require reputed company vendor assistance. You will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, utilizing our computerized maintenance management system, and maintaining a safe working environment at reputed company times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Observe and listen to operating machines or equipment to diagnose machine malfunction and determine need for adjustment or repair
• Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment, including sorters and conveyors
• reputed company preventative maintenance on material handling equipment, including daily systems inspections of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components
• Utilize the computerized maintenance management system to monitor, report, and document equipment and parts usage
• Dismantle machines or equipment to examine parts for defects or to remove defective parts

• Maintain and lubricate machine tools and equipment

Qualifications and Competencies
