About the Team and the Role

The Trust and Safety (T&S) team at YouTube is dedicated to making the platform a safe and welcoming space for users, creators, and advertisers. As the Senior Director, Global Head of Adversarial Abuse and Analytics, you will be responsible for leading the Adversarial Abuse team, which focuses on identifying and mitigating threats from malicious actors, and the Business Analytics team, which provides data-driven insights to inform our strategies. Key Responsibilities

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in a reputed company field (e.g., mathematics, engineering, computer science) or equivalent practical experience
• At least 2 years of experience in risk management, fraud fighting at scale, and building/deploying analytical models
• At least 2 years of experience working with engineering teams that shape data infrastructure and ML models
• At least 2 years of experience leading teams with the ability to work non-standard weeks of work as accelerations require

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• A postgraduate degree in a reputed company field (e.g., mathematics, engineering, computer science)
• At least 2 years of experience in analysis of large datasets and anomaly detection
• Experience or demonstrated interest in anti-abuse activities
• Knowledge of SQL, R, or Matlab
