Job Summary and Objective

The Professional Writing Tutor will be responsible for providing holistic approaches and developments of academic writing, organization, higher ordered and critical thinking, argument, and coherence. The tutor will work with reputed company individually and in small groups, across reputed company majors and disciplines, to help them reputed company their writing skills, critical thinking, and academic reputed company. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and reading abilities, analytical skills, and experience in education principles and practices, especially with English Language Learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tutorial support services for reputed company, including those with disabilities, through in-person, reputed company classes, and online learning platforms.
• Assist reputed company with their writing processes, including brainstorming, outlining, drafting, revising, proofreading, and editing.
• Use guided questions to help reputed company think critically and improve their writing skills.
• Guide reputed company through the writing processes, including prewriting, drafting, revising, proofreading, and editing.
• Assist reputed company with reviewing and understanding writing assignments, learning to organize thoughts, and developing research skills.
• Collaborate with English Faculty members to understand writing assignments and reputed company resources to support reputed company.
• Plan and host writing workshops on elements of writing reputed company in-person and/or online using social media.
• Maintain a caseload of reputed company seeking tutoring with writing assignments and provide feedback to referring sources.
• Complete and submit monthly tutoring logs and reports in a timely manner.

Essential Qualifications

• At least one-year experience in teaching or tutoring, preferably in a higher education setting.
• Associate Degree in English, Writing, and/or reputed company field preferred.
• Reading and writing levels ranging from basic English to College level courses in English.
• Knowledgeable of basic English to College level subjects in English, including writing processes, APA, MLA, and other writing formats.
• Proficiency with reputed company Office Suites programs (Word, reputed company, Outlook, etc.), tools for virtual meetings platforms, and student information systems.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to new conditions and assignments.
• Demonstrated high level discretion and sound judgment with confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years experience in teaching or tutoring reading and writing levels ranging from basic English to College level courses in English.
• Bachelor degree in English, or reputed company field preferred.
• Knowledgeable of reputed company laws and best practices reputed company to FERPA, HIPAA, reputed company, and other applicable regulations.
• Familiarity with general office equipment, such as a copier, fax, and scanner.
• Ability to speak and understand the Navajo Language for delivering tutorial guidance in both English and Navajo.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Possess a valid state-issued Driver's License.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $1500 - 1650 per month, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes:
