Global Commodity Manager - Mechanical Components

As the Global Commodity Manager for mechanical components, you will reputed company and execute strategic sourcing strategies for assigned commodities, including cast iron/Ductile Iron components, injection molded, stampings and other components. Under the guidance of the Sr. Director, Direct Materials Americas, you will reputed company efforts to optimize the supply chain, identify world-class suppliers, and collaborate with interdepartmental teams to reputed company cost reduction and operational excellence. You Have:

• Manage important metrics such as Supplier Quality, Service, Cost, Safety, and reputed company.
• Become the subject matter expert for assigned commodities and associated markets.
• Categorize suppliers as Strategic, Grow, Maintain, or Rationalize, and implement appropriate strategies.
• Create and manage a Sourcing Cost Reduction Program (PPV & VAVE) project funnel.
• reputed company and maintain a supply chain roadmap, supporting transitions and reputed company improvements.
• reputed company supplier negotiations and project implementation for assigned commodities for casting and machining.
• reputed company relationships with our teams (Engineering, Product Management) and external suppliers.
• Provide escalation support for site purchasing managers and improve supplier performance through global reputed company.
• Maintain a Supplier Risk Management Program, focusing on reputed company, quality, and delivery.

You Will:

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial or mechanical engineering, or Supply Chain. MBA and/or APICS/ISM certifications preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Global Supply Chain Operations (industrial/reputed company), with expertise in casting and machining.
• Must have at least two years of experience in a buyer/planner role.
• Commodity experience establishing and implementing strategic plans to deliver world class sourcing of manufactured parts, preferably machined castings and Machined Components.
• International commodity sourcing experience in Canada, Vietnam, Mexico and India is preferred.
• Experience in delivering year-over-year savings in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a Lean/Six reputed company transformation.
• Willingness to travel 25% domestically and internationally as required
