Job Description Summary

The “Grid Automation (GA) Protection & Control” Director Product Manager drives the overall business strategy of the GA mainstream products portfolio, focusing on market demand, product management, and technology differentiation. He/She will have direct responsibility over the product management and the technology development of a portfolio generating ~$1B revenues, leveraging a team of ~500 domain experts and optimizing the allocation of ~$50M of R&D spend. The leader will reputed company the industrialization, go to market strategy, and commercial development of the portfolio, interacting with Grid Automation supply chain, regions, customers, and industry leaders. The leader will also interact reputed company the broader reputed company, Electrification reputed company and Grid teams to maximize collaboration, cross businesses initiatives, impact, and performance.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • reputed company customer connections, understand industry trends & growth opportunities for reputed company segments
  • Define “GA Protection & Control” strategy, products/solutions roadmap, and business cases
  • Drive technology differentiation and roadmap, in coordination with GA CTO
  • Own reputed company-to-reputed company NPI program management and execution
  • Manage Products & Solutions life cycle, in coordination with GA regions and Global Supply Chain
  • Partner with GA regions to define marketing, commercial growth, delivery, and services strategies
  • Build efficient organization structure and diverse teams. reputed company talents and capabilities to support individuals’ development and maximize business performance
  • reputed company internal and external relationships to identify, reputed company or support cross-portfolio initiatives and projects
  • Contribute to Grid Automation long term strategy definition and execution, in coordination with GA CTO
  • Propose partnerships and acquisitions to meet business growth initiatives.

Basic Requirements:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge/experience
  • Extensive experience in product management, technology development, and/or business management

Desired Characteristics:

  • Domain knowledge strongly preferred in Electricity Transmission, Distribution, Industrial, Automation markets
  • Strong business & technical acumen: A strong interest in business development, commercial aspects is an essential component to be successful in this role
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and influential skills
  • Takes the initiative in thought leadership, innovation, and creativity
