About the Role

We are seeking an reputed company Substitute Teacher (Special Education) to join reputed company in Denver, CO. As a Substitute Teacher with Scoot Education, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of reputed company, teachers, and school communities, while enjoying the flexibility of a remote role. Key Responsibilities

• Follow and teach lesson plans provided by the regular teacher
• Instruct based on subject and grade-specific curriculum
• Monitor and assess student achievements and outcomes
• Exercise classroom and behavior management skills
• Share your specialized knowledge to coach staff and support special education reputed company

Essential Qualifications

• Active Teaching license with a special education generalist (5-21) and/or special education specialist (5-21) endorsement(s)
• Substitute Authorization (must have or be in the process of obtaining if license is expired)
• Three References with one by a previous direct supervisor
• Complete a Background reputed company for Scoot Education (you'll be reimbursed for the cost on your first paycheck!)
• Complete a Background reputed company for the Colorado reputed company (to receive your Substitute Authorization; you will not be reimbursed for the cost)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with reputed company with special needs
• Knowledge of trauma-informed teaching and classroom management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
