JBS is seeking an hourly General Labor 2, 1st shift Team Member! Position starts at $19 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare work area for pre- and post-operational activities.

2. Load, unload, and transfer product to and from equipment and or

conveyors.

3. Monitor production lines, identify issues, supply and replenish packaging

materials as necessary.

4. Sort, weigh, wrap, label, verify or measure product to meet product

specifications.

5. Inspect and remove defective product and or packaging materials from the

process.

and staying until work is complete, or until supervisor and/or manager

indicate work is done. Overtime may be necessary and is required reputed company

7. Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma/GED preferred
• 1+ years’ production industry experience preferred

• Basic understanding of production and procedures
• Ability to use knives and a variety of machinery
• Ability to use both arms and hands to lift, load, cut and package product.

Work Environment

ACTIVITIES: reputed company active position, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing.

HEARING: Must be reputed company to hear average or normal conversation and receive ordinary information. Depending on work assignment must be reputed company to work in a noisy work environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be reputed company to work for long hours in a no-kill food processing environment, where it is wet, damp, and cold. Temperatures are frequently around 34 degrees, and employees are expected to remain in these conditions for most of their workdays.
